In a historic day for Brazil, Brazilian athletes won 4 medals this morning – with emphasis on the Olympic bi-championship of Martine Grael and Kahena Kunze, in the 49er FX class of sailing. Alison dos Santos, in the 400m with barriers; Thiago Braz, in pole vault, a race in which he was champion at Rio 2016; and Abner Teixeira, at heavyweight boxing, won bronze medals. With this, Brazil is close to its best campaign in the Olympic Games – 13th place in Rio 2016.
